TIP #1

Everyone likes being around likeable people.  For you to be a likeable person – you need to actually like other people.  There’s a saying that goes “like, begets, like”, meaning you attract what you are.  So, if you want to be around friendly, fun, outgoing people; then you need to become friendly, fun and outgoing to a certain extent.

The first and most important thing you need to do is smile.  A smile tells the world “I am happy, confident, approachable and ready to engage in conversation.”  Try it today.  Make friendly eye contact, raise your eyebrows and smile at a random person as you walk past them in the hall or at the grocery store and see what happens.  There will be an immediate sense of connection.  In one simple act, you acknowledge their existence and importance in this world.  In return, they will see you as confident, outgoing and someone who’s not afraid to take a risk.

Try it today and see what happens as you begin this journey of developing a winning personality!
